When most women get into weight loss mode, they can be compelled to the point of actually hurting their progress. A great example of this is how many women think that the more often they workout the more fat their bodies will be able to burn off. At first thought, this makes sense and seems like you might be able to speed up results, but in reality you are will see the complete opposite results happen.
Here is what happens to your body when you start to exercise every single day and how more than just your body is affected.
First and foremost, overtraining is the number one thing that you have to worry about. This is when you train so much that your body can never recover from the breakdown that is taking place. Just incase you don’t know, when you workout, you break your body down. It’s during rest that your body will recover and become stronger and more powerful. However, if you don’t give your body a chance to recover then you’ll find that it just keeps breaking down more and more.
Your base metabolism will continue to get lower and lower, you will find that you put on more body fat, and you even get angry and depressed. Again all of this happens because you are working out too much.
Second, you are going to get frustrated and face burnout relatively fast. It’s not uncommon for women to get mad at the lack of results or even get bored when working out too much. This is a really big reason why most women will continue to go from one program to the next and never stay with anything to get results.
Third, the more you workout, the more you will open the instance of a real injury. This is directly related to overtraining, but it needs to be separated. It’s very common for the real risk of serious joint injury to skyrocket the more often you workout. This is too much to risk because if you were to really seriously injure a major joint like your knee or back, you can alter everything else you ever do. You really don’t want to make that mistake all because you were trying to rush your weight loss that much faster.
With the proper setup in your exercise routines, you should be exercising about three times a week for the main workouts. You can add more workouts but they need to be specially designed. We did not talk too much about how all of this is supported by what you are and are not eating everyday. The right foods will support your bodies recovery and actually make it faster.
So forget about trying to workout everyday. You will find that if you do the right fat burning workouts, you’ll get a such a great workout that you won’t want to workout daily. It’s amazing what can happen with you have the proper direction going in your life.
